Personal Non-Owned/Renters Aircraft Insurance

WHAT IS NON-OWNED AIRCRAFT INSURANCE?

When operating aircraft not owned by you, you may be held legally liable for any Bodily Injury or Property Damage resulting from accidents during use of the aircraft on your behalf. Non-owned aircraft liability insurance shields you from these legal liabilities and provides a legal defense if claims are filed against you. Moreover, non-owned aircraft insurance policies from our partners Global Aerospace and Starr Aviation offer supplementary protection, encompassing emergency expenses like search and rescue, runway foaming, damage to non-owned hangar and contents, and more.

We offer two distinct Aviation Insurance Carrier options. Both have the option to purchase an annual policy. Additionally, our partner Starr Aviation has an option to purchase by the month as well.

In order to qualify under the Non-Owned policy, the combined ownership Interest in the Aircraft of the Named Insured and Spouse cannot exceed 25%.

It is important to note, certain limitations apply, with specifics outlined during the application process. Optional coverage for Seaplane or Multi-Engine aircraft, or both, can be chosen during the application process as well.

Please note: This policy does not extend to commercial aviation activities. It does not cover the use of non-owned aircraft for commercial purposes or as a flight crew member while offering professional pilot services.
